Cost Analysis and Asset Handover for Life Sciences Renovation

A life sciences and bio pharmaceutical firm was renovating and remediating an existing property, making it ready for a strategic clinical study. The change was a unique challenge and required both cost analysis as well as asset handover that aligned to existing systems and protocols.

The project needed to yield information that would ID work and cost to satisfy all of the required perspectives for capital planning, compliance, asset handover, and tax considerations. Owner requirements were published so that project execution would result in aligned information outputs. Collaboration with designers and constructors ensured that information production was managed and measured throughout the project.

Project information was aligned to all of the priorities, enabling a series of customized reports that enabled a coordinated build of information that satisfied all requests. Capital costs for renovation and remediation were delineated from investments required for the clinical trial.
